There are a few La Bottega's around the place. This is my favourite. It does really nice Italian food; they do egg-based breakfast and breakfast paninis. Then for lunch they have a big range of salads, lasagne and pasta. They also serve great coffee and serve cocktails for £6-£7; Negroni and Aperol spritz and the like.
Well worth a visit, there are a few small tables inside and a few outside but you can get all the food to take away. It's all very relaxed so if you're limited on time don't sit in but if you're not it's glorious. -

A cookie and a brownie set me back 6 pounds, and they left me very disappointed. The ones I got from Pret and Eat made me so much happier. I'm surprised based on their reviews.

Nice Italian café, close to the wonderful Saatchi gallery. Will give 5 stars as soon as they throw out their microwave. Meat lasagna with cucumber, tomato, basil salad and a Birra Morretti, yum!

I'll have a macchiato and a conversational Italian refresher, grazie!
I came for an early morning meeting, a coffee, and a pain au chocolat. All three went about as well as I could have hoped for having them at 8am. I have thanked my stars on several occasions for the proximity of this more-than-decent Italian café to Sloane Square, which I pass through perhaps ten times a week.
This branch of La Bottega is in my work neighborhood, and I think it's an elegant solution for a casual business or social meeting point without having to brave the buzzy hits and swinging misses of the King's Road. The take-away deli food is slightly pricey and not spectacular, but it does the trick when I need an upgrade from Pret en route to the station.
There are heat lamps for the outside tables, and the service is super friendly--I got complimented on what I call my "café Italian," in which I am fairly fluent (speak panini to me).
All in all, I am a fan of anywhere that provides me convenience with style, and I always enjoy some foreign language skill flattery! A dopo, La Bottega. -

Just a quick review here as I only ran in for some takeaway cookies. The cafe appeared quaint and quite popular and my 7 minutes of interactions with the staff was quite pleasant! Only downfall was that I had requested the chocolate/nut cookies and found when I arrived at my friends that they mistakenly gave me raison cookies instead - for that a 3-star rating but hope to pop in again for a decent Italian lunch when next in Chelsea.
